Bill Hayes : William "Bill" Foster Hayes III, born on June 5, 1925 in Harvey, Illinois) is a long-time American actor and Billboard Hot 100 #1 artist. Following a 20 year-long career as a musician, he achieved fame once again when he began playing Doug Williams on NBC's long-running Days of Our Lives in 1970. Hayes originated the character of Doug and is the only actor to ever play that role. At this time, 41 years after his first appearance, he is still appearing in the same role on Days Of Our Lives.

The Fontane Sisters : The Fontane Sisters were a trio (Bea, Geri and Marge Rosse) from New Milford, New Jersey. In 1949 they were signed by RCA Records, and did some recordings as backup to Como. In 1951 they had a minor hit with "The Tennessee Waltz", of which bigger selling recordings were made by Patti Page and Les Paul and Mary Ford. In 1954 they switched to Randy Wood's Dot Records, where they had 18 songs in the Billboard Hot 100, including ten in the Top 40. Their 1954 recording, "Hearts of Stone", sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc.

1. Let Me Go Lover Joan Weber : Joan Weber (December 12, 1935 — May 13, 1981) was an American popular music singer. Weber was raised in Paulsboro, New Jersey and married to a young bandleader. She was pregnant in 1954 when she was introduced to Eddie Joy, a manager, who in turn introduced her to Charles Randolph Grean, an A&R worker for RCA and Dot Records in New York. Grean gave a demo of Weber's singing a song called "Marionette" to Mitch Miller, the head of A&R at Columbia Records. Miller took a song entitled "Let Me Go, Devil" and had it rewritten by Jenny Lou Carson and Al Hill as "Let Me Go, Lover!" for Weber, who recorded it on the Columbia label. The song was performed on the television show, Studio One and caught the public's fancy, reaching #1 in the United States and #16 in the United Kingdom in 1955. It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc.

Other big sellers included "Shangri-La", "Perfidia", and "Sincerely". Mitch Miller : Mitchell William "Mitch" Miller (July 4, 1911 – July 31, 2010) was an American musician, singer, conductor, record producer, A&R man and record company executive. Miller was one of the most influential figures in American popular music during the 1950s and early 1960s, both as the head of Artists and Repertoire at Columbia Records and as a best-selling recording artist with an NBC television series, Sing Along with Mitch. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester in the early 1930s, Miller began his musical career as an accomplished player of the oboe and English horn, and recorded several highly regarded classical albums featuring his instrumental work, but he is best remembered as a conductor, choral director, television performer and recording executive.
