Trans-Siberian Orchestra : Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO[4]) is an American progressive rock band founded in 1996 by producer, composer, and lyricist Paul O'Neill, who brought together Jon Oliva and Al Pitrelli (both members of Savatage) and keyboardist and co-producer Robert Kinkel to form the core of the creative team. The band gained in popularity when they began touring in 1999 after completing their second album, The Christmas Attic the year previous. In 2007, the Washington Post referred to them as "an arena-rock juggernaut" and described their music as "Pink Floyd meets Yes and The Who at Radio City Music Hall." TSO has sold more than 10 million concert tickets and over 10 million albums. The band has released a series of rock operas: Christmas Eve and Other Stories, The Christmas Attic, Beethoven's Last Night, The Lost Christmas Eve, their two-disc Night Castle and Letters From the Labyrinth. Trans-Siberian Orchestra is also known for their extensive charity work and elaborate concerts, which include a string section, a light show, lasers, "enough pyro to be seen from the international space station", moving trusses, video screens, and effects synchronized to music. Both Billboard Magazine and Pollstar have ranked them as one of the top ten ticket-selling bands in the first decade of the new millennium. Their path to success was unusual in that TSO is the first major rock band to go straight to theaters and arenas, having never played at a club, never having an opening act and never being an opening act.

Tamar Braxton : Tamar Estine Braxton-Herbert (born March 17, 1977), commonly known by her maiden name Tamar Braxton, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and reality television personality. She is the youngest sister to R&B singing icon, Toni Braxton. Braxton had her first big break in music in 1992 as a founding member of the R&B group, The Braxtons, formed with her sisters. After losing two members, The Braxtons released their only album So Many Ways as a trio in 1996 along with four singles: "So Many Ways", "Only Love", "The Boss" and "Slow Flow". In 2000, Braxton began her solo career, after signing with Dreamworks Records and releasing her debut solo studio album, entitled, Tamar. The album was a minor success, charting at #127 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, and selling 100,000 copies in its first year of release. It spawned two singles, "Get None" and "If You Don't Wanna Love Me". The label was unsatisfied with the performance of the album. As a result, Braxton was dropped from the label. In 2011, Braxton reunited with her sisters, The Braxtons, for the WE tv reality show, Braxton Family Values. The first season was the #1 rated reality show on WE tv and the network ordered a 13-episode second season of the show after the third episode. Braxton has worked on a number of different solo projects throughout the years, signing with labels such as Casablanca Records and Universal Records hoping to release an album but suffering delays and cancellations. Braxton returned to the music industry after a thirteen year break, with her new studio album entitled, Love and War. The album was released through Epic Records and was preceded by the singles, "Love And War", "The One" and "All The Way Home". The album was considered to be a comeback for Braxton, due to its success.

Pentatonix : Pentatonix (often abbreviated as PTX) is an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas consisting of five vocalists: Avi Kaplan, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Mitch Grassi. Their work, which is mostly in the pop style, consists of covers of existing songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with their original material. Their music is defined by their own arrangement style, tight vocal harmonies, extensive vocal riffing, deep and steady vocal basslines, and a diverse range of vocal percussion and beatboxing. Pentatonix formed in 2011 and came to prominence the same year by winning the third season of The Sing-Off on NBC, their victory earning them $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music. After being dropped from Epic after The Sing-Off, the group formed their popular YouTube channel and distributed their music through Madison Gate Records, a small independent label owned by Sony Pictures that mainly distributes movie soundtracks. The group also makes effective use of social media to interact with their fan base. Having now eclipsed 10.5 million subscribers and more than 1.54 billion total views, Pentatonix's official YouTube channel is currently the 13th most subscribed music video channel and the 44th most subscribed channel overall, with their most viewed music video being a tribute to Daft Punk that has accumulated over 200 million views. Their debut EP PTX, Volume 1 was released in 2012, followed by their holiday release PTXmas the same year, with Pentatonix's third release, PTX, Vol. II, debuting at number 1 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart and number 10 on the Billboard 200 in 2013. In May 2014, Pentatonix signed with RCA Records, a "flagship" label of Sony Music Entertainment, while in the same year, the group released their fourth EP, PTX, Vol. III, and two full-length studio albums; PTX, Vols. 1 & 2, a compilation album released in Japan, Korea and Australia, and their second holiday release, That's Christmas to Me, with the album certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), platinum on December 24, 2014, and double platinum on February 11, 2016, becoming the highest-charting holiday album by a group since 1962, and the fourth-best-selling album in the United States in 2014. The following year, Pentatonix released their eponymous album, their first consisting mostly of original material, which debuted atop the US Billboard 200 chart for the first time in their career. Pentatonix, together with music producer and arranger Ben Bram, won the Grammy Award for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella twice, first in 2015 for "Daft Punk" at the 57th Grammy Awards, and then again in 2016 for "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" at the 58th Grammy Awards; they are the only a capella artist to have won the award.
