 Kim Carnes : Kim Carnes (born 20 July 1945 Hollywood, California) is a US singer-songwriter. She is a two-time Grammy Award winner noted for her distinctive raspy vocal style. She began her career as a songwriter 1960s writing for other artists whilst performing in local pubs and working as a session musician. She signed with Amos Records and released her debut album Rest on Me in 1972. Her 1980 duet with Kenny Rogers, "Don't Fall in Love with a Dreamer", has been described as her "big break." Success followed with her first top-ten hit, a cover version of "More Love", in 1980. Following this, her single "Bette Davis Eyes" became the biggest U.S. hit of the year in 1981, and won her a Grammy Award for Record of the Year. As a songwriter, Carnes also co-wrote the number one hit "The Heart Won't Lie" with Donna Weiss, recorded by Reba McEntire and Vince Gill. She also composed "I'll Be Here Where the Heart Is" for the 1983 film Flashdance, which won Carnes her second Grammy Award. Following the release of 1988's View from the House, Carnes began to concentrate more on her songwriting career. Her distinctive raspy vocal style has drawn comparisons to Rod Stewart.

 EBN-OZN : Ēbn-Ōzn was a 1980s music duo composed of Ned "EBN" Liben (synthesizer) and Robert "OZN" Rosen (organ, vocals). The duo is best known for the 1983 hit single "AEIOU, Sometimes Y." EBN-OZN represented the intersection between Manhattan's European-influenced art-rock scene and the burgeoning hip-hop and dance music of the early 1980s, which for a brief moment of time served as a multi-racial melting pot of musicians and sounds, only to separate by racial boundaries once again by the late 1980s.

 ELO : Electric Light Orchestra (often abbreviated ELO) was a British rock group from Birmingham, who released eleven studio albums between 1971 and 1986 and another album in 2001. ELO was formed to accommodate Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne's desire to create modern rock and pop songs with classical overtones.  Ry Cooder : Ryland Peter "Ry" Cooder (born March 15, 1947) is an American musician, songwriter, film score composer, and record producer. He is a multi-instrumentalist but is best known for his slide guitar work, his interest in roots music from the United States, and his collaborations with traditional musicians from many countries. Cooder's solo work has been eclectic, encompassing many genres. He has collaborated with many musicians, notably including Captain Beefheart, Ali Farka Touré, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Randy Newman, David Lindley, The Chieftains, and The Doobie Brothers, Carla Olson & the Textones (both on record and in film). He briefly formed a band named Little Village. He produced the Buena Vista Social Club album (1997), which became a worldwide hit. Wim Wenders directed the documentary film of the same name (1999), which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2000. Cooder was ranked eighth on Rolling Stone magazine's 2003 list of "The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" (David Fricke's Picks). A 2010 ranking by Gibson placed him at number 32.

In the early 1970s, he collaborated with Italian progressive rock bands. Bacalov has been nominated twice for the Academy Award for Original Score, winning it in 1996 for Il Postino. Bacalov has composed significant works for chorus and orchestra. Presently he is the artistic director of the Orchestra della Magna Grecia in Taranto, Italy.
